Nov 1-10 - Landa Park
A unique annual celebration rich in German culture and full of Texas fun! Located near the headwaters of the beautiful Comal River in New Braunfels, Texas.
Here you’ll enjoy good food, music, dancing, exciting carnival rides and games, German, Texan and domestic beer, special events and the finest in Alpine and Bavarian Style Entertainment.

Nov 1-3 - Auditorium Shores
From Central Texas favorites to the country’s top-rated purveyors, awaken your palate with delectable bites from iconic chefs and restaurants! Create the perfect pair when you sip from a wide selection of spirits, wines, and brews among views of the extraordinary Austin skyline.

Nov 2-3 - Lockhart
Held annually since 2010, Texas Monthly BBQ Fest is the state’s premier barbecue celebration. The two-day festival in Lockhart is comprised of the BBQ World’s Fair on Saturday, November 2 and the Top 50 Picnic on Sunday, November 3.
Feeding Texas is the official beneficiary of the festival, leading the unified effort for a hunger-free Texas.

Until Nov 8 - Sweet Eats - GT
This Fall Festival has a 4.5-Acre Themed Corn Maze and Texas-Sized Pumpkin Patch featuring over 40 unique varieties of pumpkins! Enjoy daily pig races, a petting zoo, pony rides, wagon rides, apple cannons, and over 30 exciting farm-themed activities.

Nov 8-16 - Enter at 1401 Trinity St.
Since 2014, Waterloo Greenway and AIA Austin have commissioned site-specific work by Austin-based architects, landscape architects, artists, and designers that explore different themes related to Waterloo Greenway. As part of the highly-anticipated celebration, an all-star team of Creek Show alumni artists and designers have been invited to create a new series of light-based immersive spectacles along Waller Creek.

Nov 9-17 - Throughout East Austin
Through a desire for connectivity and exchange, the East Austin Studio Tour was formed with just 28 studios in 2003. Now celebrating 20 years, the studio tours have transformed to include over 500 artists across the city and serve 60,000 attendees each year.

Nov 16 - Fiesta Gardens
The state’s largest annual celebration of small and independent Texas craft breweries! The Texas Craft Brewers Festival is a sampling-focused festival featuring more than 200 distinct Texas-brewed craft beers.

Nov 23 - Travis County Expo Center
Texas Book Festival connects authors and readers through experiences that celebrate the culture of literacy, ideas, and imagination. Our annual Festival features more than 250 authors of the year’s best books and attracts 40,000 book lovers, and we also produce impactful programs across the state year-round.

Nov 28 - Downtown Austin
Austin's famous Thanksgiving Run! With many options for all ages and running paces, everyone in the family can participate. 100% of all proceeds for this event are donated to Caritas of Austin. During the past 34 years, ThunderCloud has given more than $5 million to Caritas.

Throughout November - Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
Fortlandia aims to connect people of all ages to the environment by evoking a sense of childhood play and wonder. Get ready to explore a brand new lineup of custom designed forts in our Family Garden this fall. Your secret hideout awaits!

Sept 19 through Oct 31 - Pioneer Farms
At Pumpkin Nights, guests venture along a half-mile walking path, where they discover the Forbidden City, a Pirate’s Cove, and more fantastical lands built using over 5,000 hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins. The celebration continues with entertainment and games in The Village, a festival area.

Oct 4-6 & 11-13 - Zilker Park
Spanning two weekends in October, this iconic festival features a diverse lineup of world-renowned artists, from rock and indie to hip-hop and electronic. With multiple stages, local food vendors, and art installations, ACL offers an unforgettable experience for all ages, showcasing the vibrant music culture that makes Austin the "Live Music Capital of the World."

Oct 4-6 - Downtown Fredericksburg
Every year in early October, Fredericksburg sets up the big tents on Marktplatz for three days of Oktoberfest. German traditions of music, games, food and drink are celebrated in an effort reproduce the Bavarian sense of gemütlichkeit (a German-language word used to convey the idea of a state or feeling of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer)

Oct 18-20 - Circuit of the Americas
Feel the adrenaline at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, hosted at Circuit of The Americas. This thrilling event showcases the world's top drivers competing on a challenging track with sharp turns and elevation changes. Beyond the race, enjoy a weekend of live music, local cuisine, and a lively fan experience.

Oct 20 - Hyde Park Fire Station
Hyde Park's Annual Costume Parade and Fire Station Fest: residents gather for a day of fun, costumes, games, and music for all ages!

Oct 24 - Q2 Stadium
Join the excitement as the U.S. Women’s National Team takes on Iceland in an international friendly. Known for their tenacity and talent, the USWNT brings their unmatched passion for the game to the pitch, while Iceland’s rising stars aim to make their mark. Don’t miss this chance to see top-tier women’s soccer!

Oct 26-27 - Throughout Austin
The 38th Annual AIA Austin Homes Tour is one of Austin’s premiere fall events. Held October 26-27, 2024, the self-guided tour showcases both new builds and newly renovated homes designed by local, best-in-field architects.

Oct 26 - Centennial Plaza
The festival of Diwali is a 'celebration of light' and all that it encompasses. Bring your friends to enjoy beautiful street lights, savory food, music, cultural dance, beautiful Rangoli (Sand Art) and a fashion show! Kids can learn various arts and crafts while others can partake in free Bollywood dance lessons. Local vendors will display colorful arts and crafts, Indian clothing, and jewelry.

Oct 26 - 4th Street & Congress Avenue
Mexic-Arte Museum’s 41st Annual Viva La Vida Festival and Parade is Austin’s largest and longest-running Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event. Participants can enjoy the Education Pavilion with hands-on art activities, traditional foods, local artists and retail booths, a low-rider exhibition, and live performances throughout the day.

October 27 - UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum
Put on your best costume and join the UMLAUF for a FREE family day of games, fall crafts, a costume parade, Bird of Prey show, straw pit, spider web maze, face painting, caricatures, storytime performances, visit with H-E-Buddy, educational activities, pumpkin decorating, and more! Admission to the Garden is free for everyone!

Sept - Participating Studios Across Austin
Participating studios across the Austin area will offer free yoga classes as an opportunity for people of every age and fitness level to try yoga for the first time, experience a new style, and discover the benefits of yoga.

Sept - Zilker Park
This event is not just a race; it's a celebration of the vibrant Austin spirit. Participants form teams of four, each runner completing a 2.5-mile loop from a central festival/transition area. After the race, participants enjoy a festival featuring live music and food. All proceeds benefit Marathon Kids (https://marathonkids.org/).

Sept - Congress Ave Bridge
Celebrate the world's largest urban bat colony (1.5 million Mexican Free-Tailed Bats) which take up seasonal residence beneath the Ann Richards Congress Street Bridge. Enjoy live music featuring Ghostland Observatory, Paul Wall, Information Society, Dylan Wheeler, Luniz, Core, children activities, a costume contest and more.

Sept - The Far Out Lounge & Stage
Eat the heat! Join the Austin Chronicle for one of the world's largest hot sauce festivals, with categories ranging from local restaurants to commercial bottlers.

Sept - Mueller Lake Park
Enjoy free films brought to you by Austin Parks Foundation. Residents and visitors bring their blankets or lawn chairs for a fun and relaxing evening under the beautiful Austin night sky. Dogs, picnics and lawn chairs are welcome. Movie starts at dusk.

Sept - Oswaldo Cantu Pan Am Recreation Center
This lively outdoor celebration on the hillside includes live mariachi music and folkloric dance performances, family-friendly art activities, and a vendor market.

Sept - Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar
Enjoy 84 weird & wild film screenings over the course of eight days, featuring both premieres and cult classics.

Sept - Austin Area Museums
Enjoy dozens of Austin Area Museums for free in a celebration of art, culture, history, music, nature, science, and play.

Sept - Music Venues across Central Texas
Hundreds of music showcases and concerts will take place at various locations all over Austin including clubs, restaurants and retail stores to help raise awareness and funds for Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM).

Sept - The Venue ATX
Are you ready to dance? Austin Summer Carnival is a vibrant end of summer celebration with Brazilian, Caribbean, Latin and African rhythms. It's one of Austin’s favorite community get-togethers with music, dance, and breathtaking costumes.

8/31/24 - 11/23/24 - D.K.R. Memorial Stadium
Cheer on the University of Texas Longhorns at one of their home games at D.K.R. Texas Memorial Stadium on select Saturdays from August to November. For the first year ever, the Longhorns will compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), and go head-to-head with some of the top teams in the country.
