Meet The Team

Founder

Jen Berbas

Jen has been a proud Austinite since she came to Austin to attend UT, and after a few brief stints in Chicago and Minneapolis, she came back as soon she could. Now she lives in her favorite place on earth (except maybe a Greek Island) and feels so incredibly lucky to be here.

 

Jen’s background in finance, first as an options trader and then working in the credit markets, laid the groundwork for a career in real estate and informs much of her work. She has an affinity for Excel and an excellent grasp of the real estate market and investments. Don't be surprised if you're shopping for investment property and you receive a spreadsheet!

 

In 2000, Jen bought a home in Austin with an eye toward building a personal portfolio. In 2006 she received her real estate license, and in 2012 she made the jump to real estate full time. When Jen started to purchase, rehab, and invest in properties in Austin, she learned about common issues found in central Austin homes and how to solve them. She loves passing on this knowledge and working with people new to Austin; it gives her an opportunity to be a tour guide in her favorite city and show buyers the corners of town that will fit them best. For buyers coming to Austin from New York and Chicago, her time spent in these cities provides her with unique insight on urban condo living.

 

Jen’s experience as a three-time IRONMAN Triathlon finisher has shaped the kind of focus and discipline she brings to any project - she enjoys helping buyers focus on their long-term real estate and financial goals. When Jen is not geeking out on a spreadsheet, or some great 1940's house that just hit the market, she can usually be found at Radio Coffee, the pottery studio, running around Town Lake with her husband, or playing with her dogs and enjoying this amazing city we’re all so lucky to call home.

Broker Associate

David Love-Moxham

David has lived in Austin for over nine years after he relocated from London, England, to be closer to his daughter. He studied performing arts and got his masters in Film and TV at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. Moving into real estate made complete sense to David. Applying the communication and listening skills he learned in drama school, combined with the ability to feel comfortable around new people, makes David a natural at his job as your agent.

 

Having traveled around Africa, Asia, Europe, Central America, and North America, striking up conversations with people from all backgrounds and making them feel at ease is both a strength and passion for David.

 

Starting in leasing all over Austin gave David a solid foundation of knowledge of the housing market. He built relationships with clients long-term as they moved from leasing to buying and listing. David is passionate about helping others and introducing this beautiful city to people new to the area. He absolutely loves his job. When not being a Realtor®, David is often found at Castle Hill Fitness indulging in crazy workouts or jumping out of perfectly good airplanes at the closest dropzone! He takes advantage of the amazing Austin restaurant scene as often as he can and will happily show you his favorite spots!

Rachel Carpenter

As one of the elusive born-in-Austin natives, Rachel has a unique perspective on Austin and how it has grown and changed. Rachel has been a licensed Realtor since 2006 -- not only seeing the growth in Austin and surrounding areas, but also playing a part in it by helping many people buy and sell homes along the way.  Having lived in Austin her whole life, she is familiar with the myriad of neighborhoods big and small that make up the ATX -- which has proven to be a wonderful resource for her buying clients as they try to narrow down where they want to purchase a home.

 

Rachel truly enjoys being able to give her clients one-on-one attention while helping them through each step of the home buying/selling process. Past clients, friends, and family all know they can rely on her experience and knowledge in the real estate industry. She has experience with rental properties, short sales, foreclosures, condo sales, 1031 exchanges, and she loves educating first time home buyers on the home buying process.

Prior to her career in real estate, she worked for many local landmarks and businesses including Star Tickets, La Zona Rosa, Austin Ice Bats, Austin Music Hall, and Encore Movies & Music. After graduating from Anderson High School, she worked her way through college and received a BS in Marketing/Management and an AS in Management from Park University.

Today, Rachel and her husband Mike are raising their son in the same neighborhood of Northwest Hills where she grew up -- and her son currently attends the same elementary school that she did. They love being able to give him some of the same experiences that Rachel had living here.  Rachel is also an avid crafter, and donates many handmade scarves and hats to the Knitvah Project each year.

Kristin Castillo

As a Client Concierge Team Lead, Kristin is our expert in real estate operations and customer service. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, she is one of the driving forces behind our team's success. Kristin assists with a wide range of responsibilities including client relations, buyer and seller consultations, implementing marketing plans for each home, market and pricing analysis, and ensuring our team stays organized. She finds an immense amount of joy in helping our clients achieve their real estate goals, and her mission is to add delight and ease to every part of the process. 

 

Kristin brings the warmth and hospitality of West Texas to everything she does. As a natural planner and problem-solver who loves nothing more than a good checklist, she thrives on handling the details and logistics that ensure our clients have a smooth and seamless experience from beginning to end.

 

With a husband, three kids, and a passion for traveling the US and abroad, Kristin is always on the go. And as someone who delights in the planning process, she savors the experience of planning her next big travel adventure!

Design & Marketing

Catherine Sanderson

Catherine is our resident expert in design and marketing, and a native Austinite. Her love for real estate and design was ignited through the process of remodeling her first 1940’s home, and since, she has continued honing her design eye both through interior design and as a professional marketer and photographer for over 13 years. Using her knack for design, breadth of marketing experience, love of customer service and a keen eye for detail, Catherine assists with a wide range of responsibilities including property preparation, vendor coordination, and implementation of marketing plans. She finds an immense amount of joy in celebrating her hometown through her work and helping our clients present their homes in the best light possible to sell for top dollar.

 

With a husband, two young children, and a passion for checking off bucket list items, Catherine is always excited for her next adventure. When not helping our clients prepare their homes, she can be found continually redecorating rooms in her house, reading design books and exploring the outdoors with her friends and family.
